Traditional Chinese medicine has evolved over thousands of years. TCM practitioners use various mind and body practices as well as herbal products to address health problems.
In this episode, we are introduced with two main herbs – Cordyceps Sinensis and Ganoderma.
Cordyceps is a fungus that lives on certain caterpillars in the high mountain regions of China. Natural cordyceps is hard to get and may be expensive.
Ganoderma is a genus of polypore fungi in the family. Because of their genetic diversity, use in traditional Asian medicines, and potential in bioremediation, they are an important genus economically.
