In today’s video I want to talk to you about a staple in my supplement stack. It’s probably not going to be what you first think of when you hear the word supplement. I have some things I consider my foundation, or the building blocks of good health and keeping my body fat low.
These are things I would never go a day without taking and one is an ancient herb that comes from a plant similar to ginger. It’s TURMERIC! I am sure you’ve heard of it before. It’s pretty well known as a spice and even a supplement but I’ve found that most people have no idea of everything that Turmeric is capable of, especially when it comes to reaching fitness goals
Most people have heard it is an antioxidant powerhouse or read the mounds of research demonstrating its ability to help manage inflammatory responses. And maintaining a healthy inflammatory response will help you recover faster from training, keep your joints comfortable, give you more energy and help you think more clearly. All things that will impact your motivation to stick to your diet and training plan and adherence is key to seeing results But that just scratches the surface of what Turmeric can do!
